Emerging Key Tall Joins Gulls
By Josh Conway
Emerging key forward Mitchell Langan has signed with Williamstown for the 2022 VFL season, becoming the second new signing for the Gulls Men's program.
Langan is a 193cm key forward who has spent the last two years at NAB League club Geelong Falcons, where he has become renowned for his athleticism and contested marking. Langan- who just turned 19 in August, was limited to three matches with the Falcons in 2021 following a broken wrist, but still managed to average more than four marks a game and boot four goals.
The promising tall will undoubtedly add some height and spark to the Seagulls VFL program next season.
Langan told williamstownfc.com.au he is excited to begin his VFL journey.
"I'm so thrilled to be part of such a successful club," he said. "I'm keen to get down and meet all the boys and everyone involved."
Langan has aligned with Geelong Football League side North Shore as his home local club, joining fellow Williamstown recruit Noah Lever.
