It was mixed results this week as seven Seagulls took the field in Round 4 of the NTFL.

Fresh off a SANFL premiership with Woodville-West Torrens, James Tsitas pulled on a Southern Districts guernsey at the weekend, taking on fellow Seagull Nick Ebinger and the Tiwi Bombers in the Men’s Premier League.

It was business as usual as Tsitas collected 33 disposals, five marks, six clearances and a goal in the Crocs’ 17.16 (118) to 8.12 (60) win - their first of the season.

Ebinger again hit the scoreboard, kicking two majors from the Bombers’ limited 38 forward 50 entries.

Youngster Daniel Mott was named in Nightcliff’s best players for a third time in four matches, with the Tigers taking a 17-point win over St Marys to have a healthy 3-1 record early in the season.

In the Women’s Premier League, Megan Williamson and Ash Melnikas continue to impress as St Marys secured their third win of the season when it downed Nightcliff 11.10 (76) to 5.2 (32) at TIO Stadium. They now sit second on the ladder.

Nikki Wallace made her NTFL debut for Waratah after serving her two weeks quarantine, joining Eliza Straford and Danica Pedersen - who didn't feature in Round 4 - at the Warriors. Unfortunately they fell agonisingly short of the Darwin Buffettes in the 7.8 (50) to 6.7 (43) result at Gardens Oval.
