Many Seagulls turned heads as the 2020/21 NTFL Men's and Women's seasons kicked off last weekend.

Youngster Daniel Mott was named 4th best for Nightcliff who thrashed Tracy Village 16.17 (113) to 3.7 (25) in Men's Division 1.

In the Women's Premier League, Jacinta Reid was able to hit the scoreboard in Pint's 48-point win over last year's premiers Southern Districts in perhaps the competition's biggest result, while Danica Pedersen and Eliza Straford both put in solid performances for Waratah who kept the Palmerston Magpies goalless in their 6.6 (42) to 0.1 (1) victory.

Both Ash Melnikas and Megan Williamson starred for St Marys on Saturday Morning. Melnikas booted three goals for the Saints in their 11.11 (77) to 2.2 (14) win, with both she and Williamson named in the side's best players.

All Men's Premier League matches will be live streamed this TIO NTFL season (available for NT News subscribers). Division 1 and Women's Premier League games will be accessible via the AFLNTv YouTube channel 24 hours after their scheduled start time.
