Seagull takes out top spot in VFL top 50 list

 

 
 
Williamstown is represented by 11 current or former players in the Herald Sun's top 50 VFL players from the past 20 years.
 
In a list penned together by respected local football journalist Paul Amy, Ben Jolley was rated as the competition's best player from the past two decades.
 
The 11 Towners who made the list are: Troy West (47th), Dean Galea (46th), Willie Wheeler (45th), Brad Lloyd (43rd), Kane Lambert (38th), Adam Marcon (36th), Brett Johnson (28th), Adrian Fletcher (25th), Nick Meese (13th), Michael Gibbons (12th) and Ben Jolley (1st).
