Williamstown Football Club’s #1 female member, the Hon. Melissa Horne, recently marked her 12 months in office as the Member for Williamstown, with a gathering of local community members.

Melissa, who was also appointed as both the Minister for Public Transport and the Minister for Ports and Freight in December 2018, spoke of the achievements of her office in the local community over the past year, and her on-going focus for making life better for all her constituents, especially those in need.

Celebrating the occasion at the quintessential Williamstown venue, the Pirates Tavern, Melissa was joined by many colleagues and local identities, including ex-Premier Steve Bracks and his wife and Western Chances founder, Terry.

Williamstown Football Club CEO Jason Reddick attended the evening as Williamstown’s representative.

“It’s great to hear the passion that Melissa has for her local community. We are most grateful for her continued support and advocacy of our Club and it’s community operations,” Reddick said.
