VFL squad in for Johnson-Callahan Cup

Williamstown has announced its squad for Sunday afternoon's VFL game against Port Melbourne as we clash for the Johnson-Callahan Cup.

Last week's impressive performance against North Melbourne - a 53-point win - ensured there were minimal changes.

Young midfielder Daly Andrews has been omitted from the squad and will be replaced by Tom Mundy as the 23rd player.

Sam McLarty will play his first game since the Round 4 win over Footscray whilst Jason Pongracic, Bailey Morrish, Jaylon Thorpe have been added to the squad.

It will be the second time this season the two sides have met, with the Seagulls triumphing in a 10-point thriller in the opening round of the season to claim the first instalment of the Johnson-Callahan Cup.

The Seagulls will be looking to carry through the momentum from the win over the Kangaroos into this week's exciting contest at Adcon Stadium, with Port Melbourne are also looking to continue their six-game winning streak.

Willie Wheeler will play his 150th VFL match as part of the 255th meeting between the two rivals.

The Seagulls will be commemorating the club's maiden premiership in 1907, wearing a replica jumper.

The first bounce is at 2:10pm and will be live on Channel 7.
