A tough game saw the Seagulls fall just short against North Melbourne, losing by 2 points 7.5 (47) to 7.7 (49).

The Seagulls looked good in the opening quarter as Jasmine Kawa kick our only goal of the first quarter as we trailed by 10 points at quarter time.
A great four-goal second quarter saw us lead by 9 points at halftime. Goals from Ella Baxter, Cassie McWilliam, Sophia McCarthy and Ruby Tripodi saw us looking good going into the second half.
The third quarter was more difficult with only one behind scored for the Seagulls as North put three goals of their own on to lead by 11 going into the last quarter.
The final quarter saw Ruby Tripodi kick her second and Eliza Straford kick her first. A tense final four minutes saw neither team score as North finished out 2 point winners.
Sharnie Whiting led the disposals for the Seagulls, collecting 22 disposals with Jasmine Kawa second-best adding 17 disposals to her goal as well as 7 marks and 5 tackles.
