Williamstown VFL, VFLW fixture updates
Williamstown's Round 11 VFL and Round 14 VFLW fixtures have been officially announced today by the AFL.
Our women's team will finish their home-and-away season with a home game against Carlton on Sunday from 1pm, while our men's team will travel away to Port Melbourne to take on their arch rivals for the second time this season, with that game to kick off at 2pm.
It will be the first time the Seagulls face the Blues in the VFLW competition this season and they'll be looking to finish on a winning note after a gallant loss to the Bombers for Wamarra Indigenous Round.
A seven-goal final term lifted the Seagulls to their Round 3 VFL win over the Borough, which was our Club's return to a brand new Downer Oval surface. Williamstown will go into the clash with a 4-1-1 record, while the Borough have won just one match from six outings this season.
The fixture for the VFL will continue to be a week-by-week proposition for the short-term with a fixture for the remainder of the VFL season to be released shortly.
The AFL is committed to working through the rounds plus finals to complete the season.
Matches are subject to state border restrictions and the AFL will continue to work with all State Governments on the travelling of VFL teams this weekend. The AFL will continue to work with the Victorian State Government and Health Officials on the return of crowds at matches this weekend.
Williamstown will share any broadcast/streaming information in regards to this weekend's games with its members, supporters and stakeholders when more information comes to hand.
Fans are also encouraged to follow the weekend's action via the Club's social media channels.
