VFLW Fixture: Rounds 9, 10 confirmed
Williamstown can confirm rounds nine and 10 of the VFLW fixture, as announced by the AFL.
The Seagulls will officially return to their home of Downer Oval on Saturday May 1 after an eight-week road trip to bring in the 2021 season. The match will also mark head coach Penny Cula-Reid's first against her former club Collingwood.
The VFLW side will also feature at home the following Saturday, May 8, for a clash under lights against the Casey Demons.
All 12 clubs play a total of 14 games across 16 weeks this season, with a top six finals series to commence in June.
Phase two of the player movement commences for AFLW-aligned VFLW clubs now that the 2021 NAB AFLW season is completed. The cap of 10 AFLW listed players per VFLW match is now applicable to all AFLW-aligned clubs for the remainder of the VFLW season, including finals series matches.
Crowds are permitted at all VFLW matches this weekend. Spectators are allowed to enter the field of play at quarter breaks.
Williamstown holds a 2-5 record after seven matches but sit just one match out of the top six.
