Grand Final details

 

Williamstown will aim to win its 17th premiership when it faces Richmond this Sunday at Ikon Park (Carlton) in the 2019 VFL grand final, after defeating Essendon in Sunday’s preliminary final.  

 

The match will kick off at 2:15pm and will be broadcast live on Channel 7, SEN 1116, Casey Radio and 774 ABC Radio.

 

There are also two grand final bus packages available for all Seagulls fans this Sunday - leaving from Downer Oval at 12pm sharp - and a half time hospitality option as well. 

 

The VFLW grand final between the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood will be played at 11:35am prior to the VFL.

 

The Club encourages all fans to sit in the designated Williamstown supporter bay, as detailed in the info graphic below.

 

 

 

 

 

SEAGULL SUPPORTERS GRAND FINAL PACKAGES 

 

 

Option 1 - $50: HASSLE FREE EXPERIENCE

·        Free all day parking at Downer Oval

 

·        Designated Seagull Supporter bus to get to the game, leaving from and returning to Downer Oval.

 

·        Grand Final entry ticket

 

·        Complimentary drink back at Seaview to begin the post-match celebrations!

 

 

Option 2 - $80: FULL GRAND FINAL EXPERIENCE

·        Free all day parking at Downer Oval

 

·        Designated Seagull Supporter bus to get to the game, leaving from and returning to Downer Oval.

 

·        Grand Final entry ticket

 

·        Half Time Entertainment in the superb George Harris Function Room featuring guest speakers:

Barry Round - captain-coach of Williamstown's legendary 1990 premiership victory at Princes Park and Norm Goss Medallist that day; and

Brett Bewley and Lachie Schultz - former Williamstown players and 2019 AFL Fremantle draftees.

 

Guests will be catered for with a complimentary drinks package and food platters.

 

The George Harris Function Room is located adjacent to the Williamstown supporter bay (refer above diagram)

Please note that all patrons are advised to arrive at Downer Oval by 11:45am.

 

Buses will be departing at precisely 12 noon!

PARKING: Street parking is limited, so patrons are encouraged to catch public transport where possible, or preferably the supporter bus. 

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Tram Route 19 or Royal Park Train Station (Upfield Line) with a short walk to IKON Park.

 

TICKETS: Tickets for the Grand Final will go on sale Monday September 16 at 10am, with Adults $20, Concession / Pensioner $15 and Kids U15 free at vfl.com.au/finals . Tickets are also available at the gate.
