Seagulls Freshen Up With Intra-Club

Williamstown last night took part in some match practice ahead of their opening pre-season contest against Casey Scorpions on Saturday March 12.

The Seagulls broke up into two teams, blue and yellow, on a perfect night for footy as they embark on their premiership defence at both senior and development levels.

Coaching staff were able to see some of the new recruits in full-flight for the first time, with ex-Saint Arryn Siposs enjoying his first run with the club while Christian Buykx-Smith and Lachlan Schultz also put in promising first efforts.

Of the returning players, Jacob Chisari, Jake Greiser, Sean Hetherington and Brett Bewley all impressed and look set to improve once again with an extra year of development under their belts.

Williamstown will travel out to Casey Fields to tackle the Scorpions for their first hit-out of the pre-season, next Saturday March 12.

The Development match begins at 10am before the Seniors get underway at 12.30pm. For those who wish to attend, please be advised that there will be a $5 entry fee into the ground.
