Lauren Suleiman Joins VFLW Gulls

Williamstown Football Club are pleased to announce Lauren Suleiman as the latest player signing for the upcoming VFLW season.

Suleiman, 21, couldn’t contain her enthusiasm about being a member of the inaugural Williamstown VFLW side, having grew up playing tennis before switching across to football.

“I'm incredibly excited to have signed with Williamstown and be a part of history. It’s super special to be amongst the first women's team.

“The club has been amazing so far, I feel completely supported in my football journey here at Williamstown,” Suleiman said.

When asked on her personal goals with Williamstown, Suleiman spoke of wanting to further develop her knowledge and skills of the game.

"This year I am looking to further improve my knowledge of the game and refine my skills, I’ve learnt so much already so I have no doubt that I will achieve that goal."
