Star ruck Meese re-signs

Williamstown Football Club is thrilled to announce premiership ruckman Nick Meese has re-signed for the 2019 season.

Meese averaged over 50 hitouts a game in 2018 and was named in the VFL Team of the Year for a fifth consecutive season.

The 30-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down as he will likely reach two individual milestones in 2019 including Club Life Membership which would sit alongside his 2015 Premiership Medal and 2017 Gerry Callahan Medal.

An integral part of the Seagulls line-up, Messe is looking forward to another season in the blue & gold.

“Nick is a much-loved character and respected member within the playing group and our supporters. His continual want to play at VFL level doesn’t go unnoticed and he is certainly driven to ensure the team can strive for the ultimate success in 2019. His individual milestones in 2019 will be a great personal reward for him, knowing that team success means so much more” said GM-Football Stephen Soulsby.
