Vale Robert (Bob) Pearman

Williamstown Football Club is deeply saddened to report the passing of one of our all-time great volunteers Robert (Bob) Pearman.

Bob joined the club in the late 1970’s, becoming Team Manager in 1980 and then Club Secretary from 1984-1988. He was awarded life membership in 1987. Bob was also awarded the Bill 'Darkie' Raffle Best Clubman trophy in 1982.

Bob then went on helping the club with several other jobs including serving as a Board Member from 1992-1994. Following his retirement from the Williamstown Dockyards, Bob has continued to help out Terry Wheeler with the Club 1864 members and its newsletter and also played a part in our ANZAC service before our game against Frankston earlier this year.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Pearman family in this tough period.
