We had 11 guys continue their season with their respective community clubs over the weekend, let’s see how they went.

We start in the EDFL where Sean Gregory worked tirelessly in defence as Pascoe Vale went down to Aberfeldie by 21 points. In other results, Hisham Kerbaiteh continued his form up forward for Avondale Heights with two goals, but it wasn’t enough as they lost to Airport West by 82 points. Elsewhere Stefan Radovanovic’s Keilor had a 14-point win over Essendon Doutta Stars to remain undefeated.

In the Northern League, Josh Minogue kicked three goals and was 6th best and Christian Buykx-Smith chipped in with a goal but it wasn’t enough as Heidelberg suffered defeat to Lower Plenty by four points in the dying minutes

In the VAFA, Kal Dawson returned from injury with Williamstown CYMS, as six goals to Nick Ebinger helped CY’s to a comfortable 47-point win over Hampton at Downer Oval. Nick Buykx was 4th best as Werribee Districts easily accounted for Caroline Springs by 78 points in the WRFL.

To the country where the Ballarat league saw Liam Carter work hard all day for Melton, but his goal wasn’t enough for Melton as they went down to Lake Wendouree by 11 points. In the Geelong league Sam Conway kicked a goal and was 3rd best as St Marys easily disposed of Geelong West by 98 points in the reserves whilst the Goulburn Valley league saw Nick Fothergill kick two goals and was 2nd best as Tatura lost on the siren to Seymour by one point.
