Elite Development Program

At the Williamstown Football Club – we aim to develop elite young football players with the necessary skills, attitude and work ethic to become leading footballers at our club and in the competition.

Aims

1. To provide a positive football experience to a select group of footballers considered talented from across the Williamstown football zones.

2. To deliver a unique coaching opportunity for talented youth through a specially designed program delivered by Williamstown Football Club coaches, staff and senior players.

3. To inform young players through information seminars on a range of relevant issues in becoming an elite footballer delivered by specialists.

Once again senior coach Andy Collins (Triple premiership player with Hawthorn FC) will oversee the program and will be assisted by senior listed players (State VFL representatives and leaders in their own right).

The EDP is designed to provide an elite training experience that ensures that players considered talented, are given the best opportunity to fulfill their potential.
